Taj Mahal Tours from Delhi

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel or airport in Delhi by your private driver and you will be driver towards Agra, upon arrival in Agra you will be greeted by your local guide. Your tour will begin with a visit to the Taj Mahal which is a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World and was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. After that you’ll be taken to explore the imposing Agra Fort which is another UNESCO-listed site, built in red sandstone this fortress was the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty and offers stunning views of the Taj Mahal from its ramparts. Following that you will be taken to visit the Itmad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb which is often referred to as the “Baby Taj” for its elegant marble work that inspired the Taj Mahal’s design. After your sightseeing you will begin your drive back to Delhi and then you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport marking the end of your memorable Agra excursion.
