In the morning, you will be picked up by our driver from your preferred location in Delhi and your spiritual journey will begin with a visit to Akshardham Temple, a stunning display of intricate carvings and spiritual harmony. Dedicated to Bhagwan Swaminarayan, this temple complex showcases Indian culture, values, and spirituality through exhibitions, gardens, and the awe-inspiring temple structure.
After spending peaceful time here, you will proceed towards the sacred Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh shrines in Delhi. Known for its golden dome and the serene Sarovar (pond), you can experience the calmness of kirtans (devotional songs) and enjoy a simple, heartfelt meal at the langar (community kitchen).
Next, you will visit the Lotus Temple, a Baháʼà House of Worship known for its unique lotus-shaped design and tranquil atmosphere. Open to all faiths, this temple is the perfect place to meditate and reconnect with inner peace in silence.
In the afternoon, your spiritual journey will take you to the ISKCON Temple in East of Kailash. Dedicated to Lord Krishna, the temple features devotional chanting, spiritual literature, and a beautiful aarti ceremony. You can also visit the in-house Govinda’s restaurant for a pure vegetarian meal.
Towards the evening, you will visit the ancient Kalkaji Temple, located close to the Lotus Temple. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali and is considered one of the oldest in the city. The rhythmic bhajans and vibrant spiritual energy during the evening aarti create a divine experience.
If time permits and you wish to extend your tour into the evening, you can visit the grand Jama Masjid, one of the largest mosques in India. Built by Emperor Shah Jahan, it offers a majestic view of Old Delhi and a glimpse into the city’s Islamic heritage.
Finally, you may take a short stop at local spiritual markets or handicraft shops before being dropped off at your hotel or preferred location after a peaceful and enriching spiritual day in Delhi.
